Bandung, Paris of Java
We arrived quite late in Bandung so we went straight to our hotel. The morning after we took a taxi to Taman Hutan Raya in the north of Bandung to see some nature and also kill some time before we could meetup with Munir. It was a beautiful hike through the forest jungle.
Jakarta, the first encounter
May 30th. That's when we arrived in Jakarta. We just passed this huge building by taxi, it reminded me of Tin Tin's rocket to to the moon. Little did I know then that that place would have such a big impact on my whole trip.
