Established as a record label by Sekan in early 2016, Jiwa Jiwa has evolved into a multidimensional platform showcasing and preserving knowledge of the spirit of the Nusantara and its diaspora expressed through different media. With Sekan’s desire to share his narrative on music from the Indonesian Archipelago and high quality sound through his sensitive ear, and thorough investigative skills, has now also resulted into a physical space.
