Dedicated to opa "Pa" († 2007) and oom Ton († 2017). My Dutch opa was stationed in Indonesia during the war where he gained a lot of love and respect for the Indonesian culture. His son and my oom was a big radio dj in the 90's for big Dutch radio stations like Veronica when they were still a pirate station but also Radio538 which are still two of the major players in the Dutch radio game. This radioshow is dedicated to you on one of the major internet radiostations of the world.

Jiwa Jiwa on Red Light Radio was one of the biggest introductions to the world of the sonic wealth the Indonesian archipelago has to offer. Hosted by founder Sekan and sometimes featuring guests of Indonesian diaspora and descent. A monthly residency which ran from 2017 until the station closed in 2020.
